What members and your support team see in Discord – from the click on the panel to the deleted channel, with all of the bot's messages.

1. EIN TICKET ÖFFNEN1. OPENING A TICKET

In the panel channel, a member clicks a button or picks an option in the select menu. Then:

  1. Ticket limit: if a limit is set and reached, it stops here with a notice.
  2. Form: if a form is set up for this button, it appears. If the member closes the window, no ticket is created.
  3. Ticket channel: the bot creates the channel in the ticket category, named after the pattern from step 2.
  4. Confirmation: the member gets a message only they can see, with a link to the new channel.
  5. Direct message (if switched on) and log entry (if a log channel is set).

2. IM TICKET-KANAL2. IN THE TICKET CHANNEL

Was im Kanal steht

Who sees the channel

  • The creator: read, write, see the history, attach files and embed links.
  • Members added with /ticket add: the same rights as the creator.
  • The panel's support roles (with “Specific Interactions” only the responsible ones): the same, plus managing messages.
  • Discord admins see every channel anyway. All other members cannot see the channel.

What is in the channel

  • Channel topic: “Ticket von <username> | Panel: <panel name>” – always in German.
  • Welcome message: mention of the creator and the support roles in charge (if switched on), your greeting, the answers from the form and the buttons “🔒 Close Ticket” and “✋ Claim Ticket”.
  • Uploaded files from the form follow right after, each with the line “📎 Screenshots – from @Lena”.
A ticket conversation
This is what a ticket looks like – here in the saved transcript view: welcome message with form answers, claim notice and conversation.
✋

Do not change the channel topic by hand: the bot reads the creator and the claim from its database, so the buttons keep working. Names in the transcript list – such as under “Claimed by” – may come from the topic, though, and can then be wrong.

3. EIN TICKET ÜBERNEHMEN (CLAIM)3. CLAIMING A TICKET

With “✋ Claim Ticket” a team member shows that they are handling the ticket. Members of a support role with “Claim Tickets” ticked may do this.

  • The button turns grey, is disabled and shows “✋ Claimed by <name>”.
  • A notice appears in the channel for everyone; the team member gets a confirmation only they can see.
  • A ticket can only be claimed once. If two team members click at the same time, only one of them gets it – the other is told it has already been claimed. Releasing it or handing it over is not possible.
  • Claiming does not change any permissions and is not posted to the log channel. In the transcript list the name appears under “Claimed by”.
In the ticket channel✋ Max (Race Control) has claimed this ticket and will assist you.
Only you can see this✅ You have claimed this ticket.
Only you can see this · on a second attempt❌ This ticket has already been claimed.

4. EIN TICKET SCHLIESSEN4. CLOSING A TICKET

“🔒 Close Ticket” may be used by members of a support role with “Close Tickets” ticked – and by the creator if “Creator can close ticket” is on.

  1. Confirmation: after the click the bot asks for confirmation, visible only to the person who clicked. “❌ Cancel” stops here.
  2. Notice in the channel: after “✅ Confirm” the bot posts who closed the ticket.
  3. Transcript: the bot saves the whole conversation. This can take a moment. If that fails, it stops here – see below.
  4. Log entry: “🔒 Ticket Closed” in the log channel, if one is set.
  5. Deleting the channel: after 5 seconds the bot deletes the ticket channel.
Only you can see this⚠️ Are you sure you want to close this ticket? 📋 A transcript will be created automatically. [✅ Confirm] [❌ Cancel]
In the ticket channel🔒 This ticket was closed by @Max.
Only you can see this✅ Transcript created: ticket-0042-lena-racing_….html (23 messages) 🔒 Channel will be deleted in 5 seconds...
Only you can see this · if the transcript could not be created⚠️ The transcript could not be created, so the channel stays open – please try again. To delete it without a transcript, use /ticket delete.
⚠️

No transcript, no deletion: if the transcript fails, the bot removes the “🔒 … closed” notice again. The ticket stays open, the channel stays, and nothing is posted to the log channel. The creator does not get a direct message when the ticket is closed.

5. BEFEHLE IM TICKET-KANAL5. COMMANDS IN THE TICKET CHANNEL

With the /ticket command your team manages an open ticket right in the ticket channel. Each subcommand needs the matching permission from Roles & permissions.

CommandWhat happensPermission needed
/ticket add user:@memberThe member gets access to the channel – with the same rights as the creator: read, write, see the history, attach files and embed links.“Manage Tickets”
/ticket remove user:@memberTakes a member's individual access away again. The creator cannot be removed. Anyone who is in the channel through a support role stays in.“Manage Tickets”
/ticket transcriptSaves a transcript of the channel as it is right now. The ticket stays open.“Create Transcripts”
/ticket deleteDeletes the ticket without a transcript after a confirmation.“Delete Tickets”
  • Only in an open ticket channel: anywhere else the bot answers with “❌ This command only works in an open ticket channel.”.
  • Permissions as for closing: you need a role in the panel with the matching tick – with “Specific Interactions” only for tickets opened through one of its interactions. The three ticks are off for new roles. If the panel has no role or was deleted, members with the Discord permission “Manage Channels” may use the commands.
  • Without the permission the bot answers with “❌ You are not allowed to do that. You need a role with “Manage Tickets” in the panel.” – naming the permission that is missing.
  • Confirmations and error messages are only shown to the person using the command.

Adding and removing members

In the ticket channel · after /ticket add➕ @Tom was added to the ticket by @Max.
Only you can see this✅ @Tom was added to the ticket.
In the ticket channel · after /ticket remove➖ @Tom was removed from the ticket by @Max.
Only you can see this · if the member has already been addedℹ️ @Tom already has access to this ticket.
Only you can see this · for access through a roleℹ️ @Tom was not added individually – their access comes from a role or does not exist.
💡

Tip: you can still do it by hand in the channel settings in Discord: right-click the ticket channel → “Edit Channel” → “Permissions”. That way you can, for example, give a whole role access later on.

Saving an interim transcript

/ticket transcript saves the conversation so far. The channel stays open and the conversation goes on. In the dashboard the transcript appears in the panel's list, marked “· Zwischenstand” (interim state) after the channel name. Closing the ticket still creates a transcript of its own – regardless of the “Create Transcripts” tick.

Only you can see this✅ Transcript created: ticket-0042-lena-racing_….html (17 messages). You can find it in the dashboard under “Transcripts”.

Deleting a ticket without a transcript

For tickets whose conversation nobody needs – or when the transcript fails on closing. After the command the bot asks for confirmation:

Only you can see this⚠️ Really delete this ticket without a transcript? The conversation will be lost. [🗑️ Delete] [❌ Cancel]
In the ticket channel🗑️ This ticket is being deleted by @Max without a transcript.
  • The bot marks the ticket as closed and reports “🗑️ Ticket deleted (no transcript)” in the log channel, if one is set.
  • After 5 seconds it deletes the channel. No transcript is created and nobody gets a direct message.

If a log channel is set in step 2, the bot reports three events there. Claims, cancelled close attempts, saved interim transcripts and channels deleted by hand do not appear.

MessageContent
🎫 New Ticket (green)Created by (mention and ID), Channel (link), Panel, Ticket # (number)
🔒 Ticket Closed (red)Channel, Closed by, Created by, Messages, Transcript (file name), Claimed by (only for claimed tickets)
🗑️ Ticket deleted (no transcript) (red)Channel, Deleted by, Created by – after /ticket delete

The bot does not attach the transcript file itself. You open it in the dashboard.

WAS ES NICHT GIBTWHAT IS NOT AVAILABLE

So nobody relies on features that do not exist:

  • No reopening of closed tickets and no releasing or handing over a claim.
  • No automatic closing of inactive tickets and no reminders.
  • No transcript by direct message or as an attachment in the log channel.

IN WELCHER SPRACHE ANTWORTET DER BOT?WHICH LANGUAGE DOES THE BOT USE?

The bot's texts – confirmations, buttons, error messages, log entries – follow your server's primary language in Discord: English if English is set there, otherwise German. You find it under Server Settings → Community → Overview (“Server Primary Language”). This setting only exists for Community servers; all other servers have English set in Discord, so the bot answers in English there.

  • Always German at the moment: the heading “Angaben” above the form answers, the channel topic “Ticket von … | Panel: …” and the default form title “Ticket erstellen”.
  • Your own texts (panel message, welcome message, forms) appear exactly as you write them. The default welcome text is German – adjust it for English servers.
