As part of THE GRID, we collect and process the following personal data:
Discord User Data:
- Discord username and Discord ID
- Email address (if provided through Discord)
- Profile picture
- Server and channel information
Website Access Data:
- IP address (only temporarily for technical purposes)
- Date and time of access
We do not store chat messages or conversation content. Cookies or tracking tools are not used.
3. Purpose of Data Processing
The collection and processing of the mentioned Discord data is carried out exclusively to provide the functions of THE GRID Discord bot and to technically enable the use of the service. Further processing or use of the data for other purposes does not take place.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
The processing of data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment, use of the offered services) as well as Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (user consent in the context of Discord login).
5. Sharing of Data
The collected data is not shared with third parties. All data is managed and processed internally by Nexwave systems and the THE GRID Team. Transfer only occurs within the technically necessary scope via the Discord platform to provide the bot functions.
6. Storage Duration
Discord user data is stored as long as necessary for providing the bot functions or as long as the user actively uses the service. Upon termination of use or at the user's request, the data will be deleted immediately.
7. User Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of incorrect data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy
Nexwave systems and the THE GRID Team reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy as needed, e.g., in case of new technical developments or legal requirements. Changes will be announced on Discord. The version published at the time of access applies to the use.
