🎫 TICKET SYSTEM

Members open a private channel with your support team in one click – with an optional form, claiming to show who is in charge and an automatic transcript when the ticket is closed.

WAS IST DAS TICKET-SYSTEM?WHAT IS THE TICKET SYSTEM?

The ticket system gives your Discord server an organised support desk. In the dashboard you design a message with buttons or a select menu – the panel. The bot posts it in a channel of your choice.

When a member clicks a button, the bot creates a text channel that only this member and your support team can see. The request is handled there. Once everything is sorted, the ticket is closed: the bot saves the whole conversation as a transcript and deletes the channel.

You can create as many panels as you like, for example one for general support and one for driver applications. Every panel has its own buttons, forms, messages and support roles.

VORAUSSETZUNGENREQUIREMENTS

  • THE GRID is on your server – with the “Administrator” permission. That is how the bot is invited. It creates a channel with its own permissions for every ticket and needs full rights for that. If you take “Administrator” away, it can no longer work in its ticket channels.
  • You have access to the dashboard. Only the server owner and members with the Discord permission “Administrator” can set up the ticket system and view transcripts. “Manage Server” is not enough.
  • A category for the ticket channels. Ideally create a dedicated category in Discord, for example “Tickets”. Discord allows at most 50 channels per category.
  • A text channel for the panel that your members can see, for example #support.
  • Optional: a log channel only your team can see, and one or more support roles.

DAS TICKET-SYSTEM IM DASHBOARDTHE TICKET SYSTEM IN THE DASHBOARD

Anmelden

Log in on the-grid.biz with Discord.
Pick your server
Under “Your Servers”, click “Admin” on the server you want. If the button is locked, you do not have the “Administrator” permission on that server.
Open the ticket system
Choose “Ticket System” in the yellow menu bar.
The “Ticket System” page in the dashboard
Every panel has its own card. Use “Create Panel” in the top right to add a new one.

The panel cards

The labels on the cards are currently only shown in German:

  • Name and channel – the panel channel is shown below the name. “#Unbekannt” (unknown) means the channel no longer exists in Discord. Open the panel and choose a new channel in step 2.
  • Tickets erstellt (tickets created) – every ticket ever opened through this panel.
  • Offen (open) – tickets that are not closed yet, including claimed ones.
  • Bearbeiten (edit) opens the panel editor, Transcripts shows the saved tickets of this panel.
  • Löschen (delete) removes the panel after a confirmation – see below.

The dashboard only shows these numbers. Tickets are opened, claimed and closed in Discord.

EIN PANEL LÖSCHENDELETING A PANEL

Confirmation when deleting a panel
Deleting cannot be undone.

When you delete a panel:

  • The panel message in Discord is removed.
  • Tickets that are already open and their channels stay. Claiming no longer works there – the button answers with “❌ Panel not found.”. Only members with the Discord permission “Manage Channels” can still close such tickets (with a transcript) or delete them with /ticket delete.
  • The transcripts stay stored. But since the “Transcripts” button disappears together with the panel card, you can no longer reach them in the dashboard.
💡

Tip: Before deleting, close all open tickets with the button and save important transcripts (open the transcript, then use “Save page as” in your browser). If you only want to refresh the message, you do not need to delete anything – see Editing a panel.

SCHNELLSTART: DEIN ERSTES PANELQUICK START: YOUR FIRST PANEL

Support-Rolle eintragen
Füge in Schritt 5 deine Support-Rolle hinzu und hake „Tickets schließen“ und „Tickets claimen“ an. Beides ist bei neuen Rollen aus.
Speichern
Zeigt Schritt 6 „Alles bereit!“, klicke „Panel speichern“.

So siehst du genau, was deine Mitglieder sehen.

A simple support panel is ready in about ten minutes. You will find the details of every step in the panel editor guide.

Prepare Discord
Create a category “Tickets” and a channel #support, optionally also a channel #ticket-logs that only your team can see.
Create the panel
Click “Create Panel” in the dashboard and enter a Panel Name in the top right, for example “Support”.
Build the panel message
A new panel is empty. In step 1, add a Text Display with a few sentences and an Action Row with a button such as “🎫 Open ticket”.
Choose the channels
In step 2, pick the Panel Channel (#support) and the Ticket Category (“Tickets”). Both are required. You can set the log channel here as well.
Form (optional)
In step 3, enable a form for your button, for example with “Subject” and “Description”.
Welcome message
In step 4, write the greeting shown in the ticket. The quickest way is the “Message” type.
Add a support role
In step 5, add your support role and tick “Close Tickets” and “Claim Tickets”. Both are off for new roles.
Save
When step 6 shows “Alles bereit!” (all set), click “Save Panel”. The bot posts the panel in the channel right away.
🧪

Testing: Open a ticket with a second Discord account that has no support role. That way you see exactly what your members see.

GUT ZU WISSENGOOD TO KNOW

♾️Ohne Tarif-Grenzen

Details

♾️No plan limits

The ticket system is currently available in every plan without limits: as many panels, tickets and transcripts as you like.

🚪Everyone can open tickets

Anyone who can see the panel channel can open a ticket. You control who that is with the channel permissions of the panel channel in Discord.

If someone deletes a ticket channel by hand, no transcript is created. The ticket then simply counts as closed.

↩️No reopening

A closed ticket cannot be reopened; its channel is deleted. The transcript stays in the dashboard.
